The 2012 – 2013 NBA season has come to an end and now it’s time for the fans to vote for our first ever “Sports Unbiased Vlade Divac Flopper of The Year Award.” With the NBA’s implementation of the new anti-flopping rule in conjunction with cash fines issued to players penalized for flopping you would think players would avoid such a penalty and compete without resorting to such horrible theatrics. The flopping rule was meant to discourage players, however it seems to have become an epidemic, infecting some of the biggest stars in the league. Is flopping wrong? Depends on who you ask, I would answer both yes and no. Yes because it can and has been used both offensively and defensively to gain an unfair advantage against the opposing team.
