The Miami Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the 2013 NBA Finals with an impressive 16 point win. The Heat responded with aggressive play from their “Big-3″ including 30 point contributions from both Dwayne Wade and LeBron James. Tony Parker suffered a hamstring injury during Game 4 which appeared to have diminished his performance in Game 5 resulting in a loss for the Spurs. With the series tied 2-2, can the Spurs recover from a home loss and regain control of the series or will the Miami Heat steal another victory on the road? The Sports Unbiased writers and contributors have weighed in with their predictions on which team will win Game 5. Here’s what they had to say.
Which team will win game 5 of the NBA Finals?
2013 NBA Finals: Spurs Versus Heat Game 5 Predictions
Kimani Gregoire -
Prediction: Spurs. Final score Spurs 99 – Miami 92. Ginobli goes for 25-plus points and 5-plus assists.
Game 4 saw the revival of Dwyane Wade who looked more like “Flash” and less like a 31-year old with a bad knee and a diminishing game. Could Game 5 see the revival of another star? Manu Ginobli has been more non-existent for San Antonio and looks washed up at age 35. At this crucial juncture of the Finals – Game 5 winner when tied 2-2 goes on to win the Finals 70% of the time - look for Manu Ginobli to have his own breakout game of the entire playoffs as San Antonio prevails and move one game closer to the championship (yes, I am finally going against my original prediction of Miami in six).

Wesley Dotson -
Prediction: Heat. Final Score Heat 107 – Spurs 91.
LeBron James and Dwyane Wade finally showed up in this series and came up big in Game 4. Wade was vintage Wade and LeBron was finally MVP-like. Bosh even showed that energy and passion everyone has been begging to see. Miami gained all the momentum in a game where they reminded the world that this is still a “Big 3.” That’s why they will continue to roll in Game 5. The Big 3 is now clicking again and in Game 4 they showed how hard they are to beat when James,Wade, and Bosh are all rolling.
Rich Stowe -
Prediction: Spurs. Final Score Spurs 98 – Heat 94.
The Spurs haven’t lost back-to-back games with all their players since December and in this series it appears that is holding true. So, the Spurs will win with Tim Duncan leading the way. This is a pivotal game because I believe whoever wins this game wins the series – I can’t see any team going into Miami for Games 6 and 7 and winning both games.
