The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat in Game 3 with a 36-point blowout while setting an NBA record for three-point baskets made (16). The Heat suffered the third-largest margin of victory in NBA Finals history, (36 points), with even more pressure to win Game 4. With the Spurs controlling the series 2-1, can the Heat bounce back from a 36-point defeat and even the series 2-2 with a win on the road? The Sports Unbiased writers and contributors have weighed in with their predictions on which team will win Game 4. Here’s what they had to say.
Which team will win game 4 of the NBA Finals?
2013 NBA Finals: Spurs Versus Heat Game 4 Predictions
Kimani Gregoire -
Prediction: Heat. Final score 88 to 80.
It all depends on Tony Parker’s status for Game 4. Gary Neal and Danny Green grabbed all the headlines, but most of their shots came off of Parker pick and rolls (Neal himself pointed that out after the game). Whenever I hear the word “MRI” I get a dreadful feeling. I would not be surprised if Popovich decides not to play Parker at all in Game 4, and even if Parker plays I doubt he’ll be very effective with that hamstring. This is the only reason I am giving Miami this game.

Prediction: Heat. Final Score 96 Spurs 90.
Well, both teams got their blowout wins. Game 4 will most likely get this series back to a more competitive balance. LeBron said after Game 3 that he needs to “simply play better and start hitting more shots”. He has been held to under 20 points for three straight games, but I don’t think that will hold up next game for the best player in the planet. LeBron will start hitting more shots which will open up the floor for the rest of the Miami team. Tony Parker is “hopeful” he will play in Game 4 with the strained hamstring. If he doesn’t play, there is no chance the Spurs win Game 4. If he does play he won’t be 100%, so I think that gives the Heat the edge in this one.
